well, it also means they have been here longer and have followed the rules by not getting things deleted. I think they have every right to be a master. I'm a master, and my art isn't great. but so what?

Titles matter to some people. It gives them a small sense of pride that they achieved the title they did, and it also gives them something to work for. It's stupid, yes, but that's how I felt when I was just an apprentice two years ago.

Eh ... You do care about points, and basic you are saying if rain in Alaska then Australia will be destroyed.

If you want your title to be badass then you have to participate and earn points. Or make a cooler username. Otherwise realize nobody gives a crap except newbs about those stupid titles or points in general. And if they do they shouldn't. [/end my opinion]

Personally I see titles more of who has been here awhile, or who is more active. There is a possibility that newbies come here and post tons and get the title of master. It just means that they were really active and posted a lot of comments and/or drawings. That's all I really see it as. I had a goal to become master. I don't think my art is masterful, but I did some things around here to earn the title. Made me happy.

Actually a lot of people who have been here a lot less longer than I have 'master' titles, simply ebcause I only post pictures and comments when I really want to. But personally, I don't really care, it's just a little word under your name in profile. The points just seem stupid to me.

I like the other titles that some of the mods have. Thats my goal at this site now... Get a different title.... Lol

Ya like deadlyblondarcher's title is "PackingA.44Magnum" you've got to admit thats pretty cool. >;)

Just remember, no matter how much your post or draw, you shall never earn the title of "teh f00z4h". And no, titles pretty much don't mean anything since really we don't currently try to keep track of what kinds of things you're drawing or whatnot.

the only thing that should matter to the artist is what they think of their own art. others comments are nice, i suppose a cool title is too. just dont place your worth in other or titles.
