EDIT2: Ok, since i've made a thread. I would like to suggest a search/organisation system for the images.
So, when somebody draws a picture, they pull down a list and puts into one of a wide range of genres.
Then, others can browse through the genres to view those pictures.
They could also be alphabetically ordered. There could also be a keyword search for images.

yeah, it never lets me connect either. Or maybe it is but there's just nothing there. Anyways, since there's already somewhere around 35,000 artworks here (if I'm counting up all the numbers from each board right), do you think that we should expect people to organize the artworks already made? I think it's good to be organized but since people can already apply a folder system to their own gallery maybe it'd be easier to integrate that into something instead of going through thousands of archives and labeling them all?

Well, maybe the current ones can just be left as they are, i don't know, or if people can put genre labels on their images them selves. Alphabetical or keyword organisation wouldn't require any labeling.

It's Marcello's call, Hunter...so it's probably not going to happen. I like the idea of the genres. The genre idea could work as long as the genres were general but distinctive, like, you wouldn't want to have 10 variations of cartoon styles/genres and nothing more. Just listing general categories is kinda boring but probably the most practical, for example: Realistic, Cartoon, Fan Art, Anime Style, Comics, Figurative, Landscapes...or something like that mgiht work. Then again, some 2Draw members have User Folders on their account, for example, Xod's folders:

So you can see, your idea kinda already exists, in some shape or form. Although, I like your idea more.

You can register a channel on an irc network and post here if you want ... someone did this before but the channel is dead now, maybe because of the lack of people hanging out in there.:(

It is up to Marcello. He is aware of all these ideas and suggestions. He might make them true one day, who knows? >:D

Off Topic: Do you save all your 2Draw pieces to your computer? What are the chances of the 2Draw server completely crashing and lose all data? =S Wouldn't that be a bummer.

If you care for your drawings, it is a nice idea to save them in more than just a single place. Just in case the Armageddon arrives. <:)

Haha.. yeah. I save the picture I like. I also save the pictures that are drawn mainly for me by my freinds. As far as labeling that sounds like a great idea. Sometimes I know I just want to browse for something in particular and I just cannot find it. I have to look at my favorite artists and hope that they have drawn something new lately. That's just not cool! It gets boring. Since you thought of it you should post it on 'Cellos thread- 2draw wishlist.. Maybe he'd take that though into consideration, but that would require a Lot of changing though. But I agree, its a great idea!!
