before any one says it, yes, I used the dodge and burn tools, but not for the shading. I like how those tools look with the yellow brown color.
sincity (May 18, 2005)
I really like this. Good one. :}
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 18, 2005)
This is so whimsical and creative. I love the roots and the little blue window. I always wanted a tree house... climbed lots of trees as a child but never a house at the top. Now I have a few "tree houses", but I carry a rifle or a bow to sit in them instead of dolls.
featherstone (May 18, 2005)
oo I wanna be there
Anna (May 18, 2005)
The Dodge and Burn worked very well with this piece. I really like this a lot, Kraisa. If we had our own personal Favorites here at 2Draw, this would be one of mine. Very nice!
HunterKiller_ (May 18, 2005)
Yeah ditto with the above. Fantastic picture.
Hey DBA, you have one of those chairs that attach to the tree trunks and you sit there sipping your Starbucks until a deer comes along? ^.^
Bow hunting must be awesome, i love archery.
davincipoppalag (May 18, 2005)
This is wonderful.. I would love a house like this, too. Cindy may NOT put the deer stand on this tree.Especially if shes sprayin one of those "deer smells" kinda things round..teriffic picture
marcello (May 18, 2005)
piglet's house?
Kraisa (May 18, 2005)

Mr.Bubbles (May 18, 2005)

Wouldn't it be fun to live in there. I love that little chimney with the smoke wafting out.
p3ndragon (May 18, 2005)
I like how you came out with the admittance of the Dodge and Burn tools. :P
Great tree texture.. I have no idea how you pulled that off. O_O
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited May 18, 2005)
I thought rabbit was the one who lived in the tree. He and piglet didn't shack up did they?
(Hunterkiller: I have some, but I don't like to use them. I usually sit on a limb or just nail a couple of boards where I'm going to hunt. It leaves things more natural that way.)
oh, and davin, only "weekend warriors" use that scent stuff, really. Sometimes I rub cedar berries on my boots to cover the scent of the leather, but no Bass Pro Shop "can you smell me now?" stuff

I like this picture enough that I wish it were in the Showcase, too bad I can't just "wish" it in there.
Zack (May 18, 2005)
Hah, I keep forgetting I can showcase stuff. This is definitely good stuff.
marcello (May 18, 2005)
rabbit lived in a rabbit hole. which pooh got stuck in.
Anna (May 18, 2005)
Yay, Congrats on the showcase, Kraisa! :-)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 19, 2005)
I knew somebody would be smart enough to put it in there, anyway. YAY! *kneels before Zack* Oh... I guess I forgot my Pooh history. I remember Pooh getting stuck in somebody's doorway and the gopher with a lisp trying to help him get out.
Xodiak (May 19, 2005)
Very beautiful tree, this and Mr. Redpanda's are the most beautiful tree drawings I have seen lately. Fabulous picture! >:)
Kraisa (May 19, 2005)
woo hoo!! I am cool!
hmmm tree texture...I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you...
thanks for all the nice comments!
sephiroth54321 (Jul 5, 2005)
