This is excellent. But why are you trying to achieve photographic quality, when you have such a magnificent and highly recognisable style of your own?
A great and versatile artist can indeed do whatever he pleases (as may lesser mortals), but the question was put to the man himself, and I believe he has his reasons.

That's beautiful, and so soft. What a calming expression, as well. Very nice realism drawing, I like the choice of a close up. ^_^

This is just wickedly good art, zep. R: It doesn't look to me as if zep is trying to achieve anything... it looks to me like he did exactly what he set out to do, without compromising his style.

styles are great and zep, yours is cool. I although, have great respect for any artist with the talent to create an image so realistic that it seems as if it is a photograph. Style is great, but I think it takes far more talent to create an image like this one. Great art. I strive to achieve something as nice as this one day.
