Xod was wondering... if its a nice idea of adding paintbbs 1.47. its not the latest version of paintbbs, it doesnt have layers but its faster with undos etc <:|

The problem with the older versions of PaintBBS is that they are missing most of the server-side features which I really try to use to the highest level. Stuff like animation, image resume, and possibly even the error messaging system (not positive).

Personally I haven't had any speed problems with the latest applet, but if it's a major problem, I can most certainly look into adding it without all the neato features. ;-)
