awesome, dynasty warriors is repetative, but damn, it soothes my violent/destructive tendancies. only things that REALLY bugged me was the horseback fighting... it was either extremely cheap, or extremely impossable

Yeah, I don't exactly enjoy riding horses or elephants in fighting (they're good for transportation and nothing else). It's only really fun when you're on foot and beating everyone up. There's always the 2P mode and performing the double attack on the enemies that gives you that real destructive satisfaction :P...

You have body guards for the double attack too, they'll give ya a boost.

The face looks better shorter like that, I'm glad you adjusted it.

And yes, DW5 only I believe, since you only get one body guard. They are very good and useful in this version if you raise their levels and weed out all the veterans.

Thanks, I'm probably going to do more of those drastic changes on this but we'll see.

As for the bodyguards, I never used to use them because they always got in the way when I'd be beating up enemy generals and take my kill, or they'd get out of the way and let me take some serious hits just sitting there and enjoying the show. So finally it just pissed me off and I just didn't use them anymore. Just yesterday though, I got the "tiger collar" item, so I equipped that (basically you have a tiger bodyguard that can't be killed) and had my one bodyguard, and my general riding a Red Hare. Man, we looked unstoppable.... :P

Awesome game...well, the one before this one was(I haven't played 'this' one yet) and awesome pic. The fighting is fun as hell. You ARE unstoppable, Niel...that's a good thing. :)

DYNASTY WARRIORS!! I can't believe they took versus out. *dies* Still an awesome picture though. I still can't believe I actually used to beat you occasionally ~.^

Well, according to what I hear, the versus mode is gonna come back in their "Xtreme:Legends" follow up game of DW5 with more features.
But there are some classic things that appear in this one as well like Zhang He (the claw guy) says "Such BEAUTY!" when he starts his musou attack. And for his true musou, he goes, "EVEN MORE BEAUTY!" and ends the attack with "SUCH ELEGANCE!" lol....keeps me laughing.
Btw, if you want, I'll give you my DW3 game for free since I don't even touch it anymore and it might as well be put to good use. It may help you get even better at the game too ;).

I thought his taunt was "Beautiful!" oh no wait you're talking about the start of the attack. Naw I still like that old guy with the staff-the one that stands on top of it and meditates and that if he catches you in his boost you're screwed. I might have to hijack 3 from you and kidnap 4 while I'm at it ~.^ but they wont be as much fun without you to kick my ass.

Actually, in 5, they removed the taunt command too :(. But one good thing they did was changed the aerial attacks to be more unique per character (instead of jumping and smashing the ground to hit the enemies in your radius). There's also more diversity to the officers' kill quotes like, "Enemy officer, DEVOURED!" and "One down......MANY MORE TO GO!" (lol, I love the cheesy lines :P).
Hijack 3 after I said I'd give it to you for free :P? Hehe, well in any case, I thought you could play your bro if he were into it.

i JUST got Dynasty Warriors 4. >____< I'm so behind! I'm in Act III *dances* yah. Its my first DW game, so I have no idea who this is. I must agree with everyone else about the attacks... well the fighting in general. *squirms* It. is. so. much. fun.

Anyways, your artwork is really beautiful! I think B/W art is so wonderful if done right. you DEFINATELY rock at it.
