I don't think there's one pic of yours that I haven't liked... you've got the greatest ideas <3 and you draw them so well and beautifully... they're so dream-like..
Do you know how inspiring it is to see your stuff? It's so creative and very interesting to view. And the thing is, you execute it well too. What a combination :)....
The building isn't finshed, really... if it wasn't hidden by the clouds. lol I gave up on it due to my frustration and loss of patience. lol I got the picture from a cover of this book (about 10 X 5 cm). Supposed to look like a pendant. lol Oh but thanks anyhow, guys.
well I'll say what I'm thinking too.... quit acting so holier than thou Staci.... sorry Christy... these comments don't belong on such a beautiful pic.... or.... do they?.........
Most people being who Icats, you? Cause like you see, you were the only taking that comment the wrong way. There wasnt even anything to take wrong. Stop acting like a b****
Christy: I'm sorry for all of this. But i can't stay quiet. I'm sure you understand.
I just said something that I've wanted to say for a long time... seemed like an appropriate moment... she knows I think she's the shit... but feelings get hurt around here once in a while... it's inevitable, I guess...
For the record, I took pulmonq's comment the same way Staci did, and thought he had it coming. There's no reason to correct someone on such a little detail unless you're smarting off, or so I thought.
As for Staci undermining her position, pulmonq, this is a different situation. She was asked to explain herself. When I offered you my advice I did not ask you to explain or defend your actions. Nor is Icats here being accused of being argumentative.
That's just crap. He knows it isnt a cathedral, i know it isnt a cathedral, and trust me, christy knows it isnt a cathedral. He said that so no one would have a wrong idea of what it is. I can't see how is that being argumentative. I guess some people can't forget things that happened the past and have to bring their poison into totally different conversations . It's just sad.
There is a reason if I happen to have a special interest in the subject matter, Zack. I said it wasn't a cathedral. Chill out.
And I wasn't refering to her second comment, though that was a presumptuous statement, and she probably was trying to get a rise out of me. >.> And Icats isn't being argumentative, sure. She's being snotty and uptight, that's all.
Rest assured, I am quite chill. You may wish to ask nozomii to follow suit, though. Calling someone names for calling someone else names is hardly dignified.
It would seem, then, that the crux of this misunderstanding is the severity of the difference between temple and cathedral. Yes? You mean temple, then, not in the generic sense, but as in a synagogue? If that's the case, my apologies. I was under the impression that you were referring to minor architectural differences.
Want me to swallow it and leave, zack? Is that it? Cause i cant. not when my boyfriend is being called an asshole for saying its not a cathedral. I'm tired of being the good girl. Stop messing with both him and me and i'll assure you i'll leave this alone. I won't stand watching with my arms crossed when he's being attacked for a stupid thing, and watch you applaud it.
nozomii: I didn't say you couldn't defend him. Far from it, as in this case I seem to have been mistaken. But it would be nice if you contributed more than just insults and ill feelings to the argument.
It ... is..... *dramatic pause* a temple located in SLC, also known as "The House of the Lord", built from 1853 to 1892, taking 40 years to complete. Only worthy members of the church may enter here --it is not for the profane, or the gentile as they are usually called, because certain sacred ordinanace are dispensed, including the giving of certain signs and tokens which act as keys giving access to exaltation in the Celestial Kingdom. It is one of more than 100 currently in operation today around the world.
I'm glad to see you realize you are mistaken. And i'm just fed up of seeing him being attacked in pretty much each comment he makes. Call it "ill feelings" or whatever you want. We've put up with alot so far. Tired of it.
According to The American Heritage Dictionary, the second definition of cathedral is "a large, important church." You make this sound like it's important, and it's a church, right? So... are you sure it's not a cathedral? :P
Personally, I don't think this ruins the picture. The rudeness is overwhelmingly ironic, yes. But you don't have to read the comments. If it is bothering Cordelia, I will gladly remove all my comments from this picture.
Whoa, I just logged in for a minute (well, technically like 2 hours ago lol) and then there's 48 comments here. Personally, I don't really care what people are saying as long as they're not insulting me. lol I don't really want to make a big deal about this so let's just all let it go. pulmonq2 just wanted to make a point over something so I think "someone" else took it the wrong way and so on. Some strange domino effect just happened here. lol I should have specified this temple. Yes, it's a temple.
The Salt Lake City Temple in Utah. Ok, ok, so thanks for all the comments. Let's all rest in peace.
It's important to me Zack yes, since 2 years ago and counting. It's a temple, not a church. Anyone may attend a church. Only a select few get access to a temple. Am I sure it's not a cathedral. hmm... I take it that was a joke :P
Anyway, I guess I can reveal the religion sure. It's the primary temple belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ta-daa! If you would like more information, you are welcome to visit www.lds.org or www.mormon.org . Thank you.
Edit:
And actually, whether it's a temple or w/e is a trite point. I don't care about that. What this was really about is Staci, not the drawing.

It just occured to me that this statement is incorrect. Vera didn't say she was one, she said she was acting "like" one. Unlike Staci who told me I was "being" one. Vera didn't call her a name directly, but made a comparison. See that?
Oh look who decided to open her mouth again. And I had such high hopes that when she said she was done with us, she meant it. *sigh* Well, so much for wishful thinking.
i still don´t know why i like your pics (can´t find the reason in the comments either), but i like it a lot. solids, maybe is the concept.
sorry cordelia in advanced, but i really wanna to say, that this kind of threads delighten me so much...i love human being and work in communication, so.....
ahhh... so that's where all the gods are... seems like a nice place, but looking at the size of it, i think it'll be overcrowded in no time... ahwells.
gotten regen: technically it's on this earth but there's really a place like this (it's just a miniature size temple lol). I guess the round part behind it created the illusion that it is that small but it's not. Just think of that as a shield to ward off some unclean substances. lol
Very nice drawing. I like how it looks golden and beautiful. The mist around it is also great. Gorgeous cathedr... err, I meant to say, temple! <:)

Perhaps we could all use a good dose of civility.

Was that good enough?
What religion is practiced there?
