How come it is only certain pictures that you can view the animation of the stages the artist went through, i find them really helpful, and wish i could see more :-)

The only time you can't view animations is when a picture has been drawn in Lascaux; there isn't any animation support up for that applet.

In v1 I remember you could also choose whether to record the animation or not, but I dunno if that's still there.
