the middle portrait for some reason looks like a man... O.o so I hope it is. An elvish man perhaps, but truely a man. uuhh anyway... I really like the sketches though, especially the top-right. Nice heart locket also. neat.

lol no, the middle one is a woman that lived to be in her 200 years, which doesn't make her any ordinary human but more like a witch. hehe See the big bump on her nose? I know the hair doesn't make her look that ancient but there's a story behind this: she's using the locket to regain her youthfulness but not exactly succeeding. The images beside her are the memories she had when she was young. hehe Ahh, whatever.

hmmm..."she" doesn't look old, really. And I know that's spose to be a sparkle on her nose's point, but it looks like her nose spikes out on the end, lol. Maybe it's the eye... looks very male....or the shape and size of the nose... ahhh I dunno what it is. Did u base that person on a character drawing from somewhere? Maybe that would help me. Now, the b&w sketches are definitely feminine, but the colored... *shrug*.

Oh I just thought it out in my head... or i think it was in my dream... Originally I was gonna do just some girl but then I knew I screwed up the face so I thought I'd distort it by adding some zit and freckles and junk. So it made sense to me to make it weird and witchy. Almost scary though. Come to think of it, it does look almost like those peasant boys back in the medieval times... Oh and the nose... hehe I got that from Escaflowne... you know how pointy their noses are? Man! You'd think they were half witches or something. lol No offense to escaflowne fans.

Yea, i agree with Paul, She doesn't look very old. But i like what you tried to do, Christy. The whole meaning behind it, its sweet. And the locket its really pretty.
