hair on left side of face moved in, lower right side of hair line and make a little flatter, eyebrows, darker shading around edge of jawline, then smooth, more red on cheakbones, and less black. half tones yellower color in indent of cheeks, straighten right side of left eye white, flatten right side of right eye white, erase black in hair, smooth out faceline, and add black and deepen cheek indent rounded on left side of face. Take out brighter skin color behind cheek tones and use black or hair color. peachier color for hair split, take out bright red halftones around upper face.. etc. (notes to self)

Lookin' very very nice so far. Here's a tip on the hair. For the base color.... use the darkest color. It makes it that much easier to then add the highlighting strands which will make it look more realistic. So just take that darker color your are using and make it all that color. Then go in step by step with gradual lighter strands till you've got it done. I'm teh suck at explaining. :-S Sorry.. I hope that made a little bit of sense?

I think you explained it great, Anna. I followed that, and what's more, I understood cuz that's how I did my greenery on the wreath pic..and it seem to work pretty good. This is great work Danny.. I thought someone had put a new comment on staci's!

whoa..i thought this was mine :) but the eyes are better >.<
when i did this one, i used the randomizer tool to make the skin tones, i can see you did that, but i think i used a way big brush size and had the opacity pretty low. then i blurred it. i think this looks more like her than mine! woohoo
the only thing that really bothers me is i would move her whole head over to the middle of the frame but its not a big deal. and i think i was still learning how to do decent hair so i dont think when i did mine i started with the base color, but it is easier.

thankyou all for your comments :) I understand what you mean fully Anna :) with the darker color, and like Staci had made a tutorial about it too that showed that. I know there are a few things to change with the face, obviously tones, but like with the shape i need to move her right jaw bone in a bit, and smooth out her chin. I think I am going to get the basic tones down.. like the colors of the face, and then come in with the big brush on low opacity. Thanks Staci for the help :) and I will try the hair too.. tho im still a little nervous about doing that lol

well you slide the thingies to the left and the top one is an i: i think and that makes patterns, and the bottom is a d: i forgotted now but it makes random colored pixels. or specklies if you wanna get technical.

yeah.. i just looked I think the D is on top and the I.. you wanna lower the bottem one down .. the lower you go with that, the more speratic the speckles will get, as where if you raise it up, the strolks get thicker. lowering the top bar makes the halftones less and more, but they are uniformed like the ones in the other applets

I know the top is the halftone and the bottom is the "speckler" I never got random colors with em though..they make the halftone patterns or the speckles in the colors I choose (I used the speckler to make the bg on the wreath pic..three sizes three layers.. three colors.. Danny I keep looking at this .. one of these days you and miss staci gotta do one together and make us guess who did what...
