Hmm weird. I like the first version better. *shrugs* I dont think that pinkish frame is needed there. I like the shining things though. But this is just my modest opinion. =D
I actually like the frame ^_^;; this is really great! your style is awesome, cordelia! only problem is that the shine on her eyes is coming from the wrong direction... it should be coming from the source of light, which is the left (viewer's right) side of the face.... good stuff though! :D:D me likes bewwy bewwy much! hehe.... I was going to say :+fav:, but we arent on deviantart, now, are we XD That would be a cool feature though... a place where you can feature your favorites on the site... >:) snap to it, cello! lmfao... Good call honey. I think it does look better now without that frame. It was too... overbearing. Now we just have those lil squiggly details in the corners which I think is nicer. Yes the lights in the eyes don't EXACTLY match the source, but I wouldn't risk messing it up just to make such a minor adjustment. Nice face, Christy. EDIT: The bottom lip seems a bit dark/heavy on the bottom, to me. Again, just a nit-pick that doesn't really detract much from it overall. GJ

Anyway... Yes, the sparkles look really cool. I think this is the best version. You know, i admire your talent alot, cause i tried to do an anime girl, and i gave up, cause it just sucked. So don't let critics let you down, your draws are great. Yes, i may even say i envy you, ( good envy =D) i just can't draw. :'((
No, it's OK, I think criticisms are fine. It's the only way I can get better. If all you say is "nice" and "oooh purty!" then it just seems like you could care less about the picture. This is why I did three versions of it. I can still change it if I have more space. I really don't mind. lol I was just giving a sigh 'cause I had to change the shine in her eyes and I liked how I did it the first time. lol And I also wanted to show you that I can still change it to the way you want it to be. I don't like sending in drawings that are just a simple sketch that took less than an hour. I like spending a lot of time on an artwork because [edit:]I'm my own worst critic.[/edit] lol Anyhow, if you like it better now, then fine. Thanks though!
After a bit of thought (and flipping back and forth) I'm going to have to agree that version 3 was better than this gray stuff all over everything. I know what u were going for, but it just looks a bit washed out this way.
I didn't want to put so much emphasis on the face so I put air brush on the side to make it look a bit smokey-ish. Sometimes I get tired of brightness in colors so make it looked washed or blurred.
