Hello friends! I'm sorry I wasn't around for such a while! But thank God, I'm here, right? So much to do!

Please enjoy my picture. ^_^
I made a pumpkin with celery legs for all of you who are vegetarians...ahem...like myself. I think it came out quite nicely, here, here?

Anyway, the picture isn't as much the point as to what I have to say...

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving folks. Food, football and family galore. Very enjoyable! But let us not forget where it originated from and who it is thankful to. For those of you who are Christian (I don't mean to exclude you atheists/agnostics/Buddists and so forth), it is a time to remeber how much God has been able to provide for us and our loved ones. A time to remember the graces and mercy he's bestowed upon us all. Back in the 1600s, the Puritans took this time to fast and give thanks to God for his safety and love. On a side note, I wanted to do the same tomorrow, fast and pray and give thanks, but my body isn't able sadly. Ah well, maybe next year by the grace...

Anyway, I digress. Tomorrow, some individuals are going to donate clothing and food to the poor in any organization (Goodwill? Salvation Army? you pick!) I'm hoping that I can gather all of my old clothes (my family and I) and donate them tomorrow. If you can, please do the same. There are so many needy people in our country and in countries around the world.

More Christ-oriented than even Christmas, let's take the time to observe thanks and appreciation. And hug and kiss your loved ones! Please! Throw all of your arguments and disagreements aside and be thankful to see their faces! Maybe even shut off the TV (gasp! breaking tradition!) and actually talked to your brothers/sisters, neices/nephews/cousins, mom /dad /grandma/ grandpa, friends and so on that you weren't able to during the long year of business and personal matters. Open the gateway of conversation and become friends again!

And, last but not least folks, as this applies to everyone, let's remember the good times and never forget the bad and always ALWAYS show love...it's the strongest thing there is!

God bless, have a good Thanksgiving and Happy holidays!

I'm so sorry to have missed this crazy picture and wonderful sentiments back in November but they are still good today. Might be a reason I stumbled upon this. Thanks, Doodilibop.
