I don't think war is a funny thing, People are going to die. I believe there is a time for war but it is not fun like a lot of people are making it out to be. killing is not cool

Yeah maybe you shoulda told that to Usama and his financial supporters (Iraq) before they flew a few planes into populated buildings. Now its their turn to pay for their actions. Bush is giving sanctuary to anyone who defects, and he last night he told the Iraqi people, that if they don't fight they won't be harmed. He is even giving Saddam one last chance to run. He isn't going to, because he is evil, and would rather try to get our people and his people killed. I agree killing off innocents is not cool, but the killing of evil is good and is just.

how tragic..nice style..

Bombing them back will not help the situation any more... War won't make peace.
roguefrequency (edited Mar 18, 2003)
See, I don't see how you can say that... After WWII, USA helped rebuild Germany and are allies now. The German people didn't hate America for any reason other then they were told to. Once Hitler was gone, there was peace. You prune the evil and give good a chance to grow.
Akane (edited Mar 18, 2003)
roguefrequency: i think that you are an opinioated jerk that really shouldn't open his mouth at a tym like this. yes germany may have been what you call evill but they never really were it had been portraied that they were only through the "evilness" of hitler becuase he was a shithead. and it has NEVER been proven that sadam did anything everyone believes this, i'm not saying i am for it but people have to fucking shut their mouths about things they have no damn idea about. all of you people who are for bombing the shit out of Iraq must never had heard the saying "Two wrongs don't make a right" go shut the FUCK up talk about shit you know!

BY THE WAY: i really like this picture and what it symbolizes i can see that by this and many other pictures people really care about this war and what is going to happen. The adults are making all of these irrational dicisions us teenagers should be asked about our felings its our family and friends that are going to be kiled and nobody gives a shit about it.... and then they think OH we're doing this to help everyone....how? by killing our loved ones with an unessisary war?/ hmmm something makees NO DAMN SENSE!!!
zman0185 (edited Mar 19, 2003)
ok now all this is just an opinion but i think both of you are missing key points on both sides..to the one saying war with iraq is wrong and makes no sense I say to you how can it make no sense when a leader who has weapons of mass destruction and aids terrorists refuses to cooperate..unless he has something to hide.lets ask ourselves why wont he give them up..only plausable reason is because he plans to use them..maybe not now and maybe not even in the near future but its hard to dissagree when someone says that its inevitable that the weapons sadam has eventually will be put to use.and are we to let this go withouth some action..its very easy to say its wrong to fight or use force but not when you look at the fact that he posses a threat 100 times greater than the terorists even come close to........ok that being said it is only fair to look at the other side of things..the idea that war is wrong and why..on this i do sympathise with akane..I myself have a marine brother who is in kuwait right now and when this war starts who knows were he will be or what dangers he will face..and true fighting againts hitler in WW2 did bring strong conections between the us and germany but you also cant forget that japan came after us and what happened there?hiroshima and I dont care what anyone says hiroshima and the other one we bombed were NOT a good way to end that fight and anyone who says otherwise is clearly contributing to mass genocide and in my opinion is no better than hitler himself seeing as he killed countless numbers of jews and did it slowly but with us we killed countless innocent people but did it quickly..there is no argueing that war is a terrible thing and probably shouldnt even be an option no matter what...I myself know how it is to fear for the life of a loved one must dissagree with bushes actions....it was said that war should be avoided to the fullest extent whenever possible and it seems clear enough to me that bush is not avoiding it at all but instead is welcoming it by making unnecissary comments and issueing altimadums that he knows full well wont be fullfilled..not to mention he is rushing into this without the support of the UN...so i do agree that something needs to be done and soon but war should be avoided at all costs..it seems to me that bush has never heard that saying..war should be avoided at ALL costs...well again thast just my opinion..I hope i didnt offend anyone to much but both side do need to be looked at...*shrugs*

If it wasnt for the Americans...the french and the germans wouldn't have made it. Saddam was told to dissarm 12 friggin years ago and he never did so he just bought time. America just brought the end to his building of his so called "mass distruction" weapons. Anyway, I know to human shields and they both are from Hawaii they both gave up their citizenship for this war and now they don't want to go and protect the oil field they want to come home lol. Sad thing is they can't. Zman is right we should avoid war, but I doubt that is possible. We have to end all this crap. AND the reason why the french are being so friendly now is because they are afraid they are going to loose their OIL!!!! oh isn't this just great how the world works.

YOUR ART HAS A MEANING THAT IS GOOD :) KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I say....

lovely picture, dear suziesuze...I like the way you draw your faces. so full of expression. I also like the symbolism.

Also I say...we're all opinionated...but there really isn't a lot we can do to change Pres. Bush's mind about anything. War happens. It shouldn't, but it does.
Kazukie (edited Mar 19, 2003)
Akane you shouldn't yell at Roguefrequency, he/she has a right to voice his/her opinions if he/she wants too.. Sorry Rogue, I don't know yer sex! =P Um.. Akane you deff. shouldn't yell at him (I think that's it..) for speaking his mind about the war. It's best to speak up. Telling people to "Shut the FUCK up!" Is just very unclassy of you. I'm disappointed.

And yes, this drawing does have a lot of meaning, even if it's extremely blurry. =]

Very nice art... :) Keep up the good work. Stay strong everyone!
roguefrequency (edited Mar 19, 2003)
I just want to say that I wasn't trying to piss anyone off with my posts, but like Kazukie said, I was just expressing my views.

to Akane: I had a little hard time understanding your rant due to lack of spelling and grammar. Your excessive cussing didn't make me even want to see your side either. Also your immature statement about how teenagers should have a part in international deplomacy is utterly rediculous. But, you are a 13-year-old and if you think this war is "irrational" and "unessisary" then I'm glad you arn't in charge of our country.

to zman and Thornofsin: You guys both have excellent points, and a few I hadn't thought of before.

to Kazukie: I am a male (17), and thank you for protecting the first amendment :D

to SuzieSuze: Sorry if my first post came across harsh. Good job on the picture!
zman0185 (edited Mar 19, 2003)
thats pretty harsh to say teenagers should have nothing to do with diplomacy...I would be very pleased if someone where to ask my opinion and I would be very glad to know that my opinion on things does have an effect..Im 17 and you are to rogue..wouldnt it make you alot happier about the government if how felt mattered to someone..unfortunetly it doesnt and it doesnt matter if you are 13 or 17 its the same...god I type to much..Ill stop..sorry
roguefrequency (edited Mar 20, 2003)
How I feel does matter to alot of people (friends and family), just not to the government. Once I'm 18, and I start voting and paying taxes (eckkkk), I will have a say and so will all of you. Teenagers, male and female, are emotional. I'm not dissing anyone, because I am a teen too. To make decissions for millions of people, you have to be level headed and unselfish. You can't always do what you feel like is the right thing for you, you have to thing about your people and decide what is the best thing for them. In general, kids and teens are selfish. Yes, there are adults who are selfish, but in general when you get married and have kids, you grow out of it pretty quickly. These are my opinions.

Wow I didnt mean to start this I am sorry
