Geoffrey's parents left the house. Geoffrey called up Jimmy. Jimmy called up Juan. Juan called up Geoffrey. Geoffrey met Juan on the corner. Geoffrey went home and ate a few of those magic mushrooms. Poor Geoffrey. Looks like he's having a BAD trip!

*Bows* Thank you, thank you.

Yeah, I know how to use the layers, I just don't think I know how to use them to gain any real advantage except for speed.
Thank you Xod. I love you. It's hard for a poor DVD pirate in a world that is against him. Without dedicated fans like you, where would Oscar be today, hm?

lol this one made me laugh and it certainly took you long enough. hopefully this one stays around.. some benafits of the layers are that you can add portioins of a picture that you are not sure you want going in and can remove the layer if you dont like it and so on. They help for numerous spaces like bg and foreground kinda stuff. but this one I think was funny :D nice job
sincity (Nov 22, 2004)
Good one osca' keep up the work.
OscarThePirate (edited Nov 23, 2004)
Thank you, thank you. I suppose I'm starting to get the hang of things, eh?

Also, Derrick, I have no idea how to do shadow, so how about I add you to the shit that lets you work on it too and you can add the shadowing for me?
Ty854 (Nov 23, 2004)
My favorite part is the face coming out of the wall. Glad to see you spending more time on your pics! ;)
inatyrb (Nov 23, 2004)
its so random. i love it... but i have to say, that yellow wall insn't exactly apealling... o well
TaCO (Nov 23, 2004)
No I don't think I should add the shadow for u. Why don't u try adding shadow in a new layer. And if u mess up u can just delete the layer. U should just try, and if u make misstakes u will just have to learn from them. The more misstakes u make the more u will learn.
OscarThePirate (Nov 24, 2004)
But dammit Derrick, I know nothing about shadows! All I know is that they follow me around and freak me out! They're everywhere man!
me007 (Nov 24, 2004)
One thing you should remember about shadows is that everything usually has a main light source. Pick a spot off one of the sides of your picture.. for example the top right-hand corner. Now if the light hit everything on your picture, it would cast a shadow facing (roughly) the bottem left-hand corner. just remember that, maybe lower the ocapacy in the applet so that you do not draw so dark or "heavy" if you will. Eventually you will get the hang of it but just practise
