thanks Staci, but I have to give credit to Anna who memoed me after a comment on one of her pieces about the textures she used. I learned from her how to use the tool that lets you do those dots quickly.

I know this puts you out of your comfort zone Davinci, but you have to turn off the anti bias and go over to the left side of the screen. There are two bars that can be adjusted. Slide the bottom one to 2 or 4, I think it is labeled d, and draw with a large brush. It will lay down the dots in a random pattern and you can shade like I did in this pic. You can also blend afterwards for some cool effects.

Nah..I'm comfortable with those, I just didn't know how to make them do anything but lay down the half-tone in an even pattern..I will try that... Very cool Thanks
