It's actually another drummer named Art Blakey. This is when he was very young. The title Simplicity of expression, depth of thought is the name of a Billy Cobham album. I liked the name of the album, and this picture of Art Blakey reminded me of that phrase. I'm actually impressed you bothered to try and figure this one out XOD!

This is one of the best pieces anyone has posted here thug. Everything about this: the textures, shading .lighting, all of it scream "I am one hell of a drawing!" Great work.

Hehe, thank you for the explaination, I should understand that they look different (Billy Cobham seems to wear glasses in every picture of him).
Sometime you should draw the cover picture of another album of Cobham: A Funky Thide Of Sings >;)
