maybe some defanition to the tree... try shading it like darker towards the outside or lighter, depending on your light spot, so that the tree looks round, same thing with the bird.. oh. and try adding some texture to the cloud.. yeah.. thats about it.. u should play around with the oppacy too a bit. it looks like all of your colors are always set on 255.. try toning them down a bit to add good shading

Don't abuse the blur tool! Also, try oekaki shii-painter. I think it gives you smoother lines.

true true... Lascaux may be a little complicated for u right now n e way..but you can move up to it in a bit, but it is proabably better to start on an easier applet, get used to the normal tools, and then move up to Lascaux so that you can get a little more in depth with your pictures
