This work reminds me of the medievel piece "The Annuciation to the Virgin" by Fra Fillipo Lippi. The details and techniques used in this mexican knifer are almost exactly the same as used in Father Lippi's treatment of the Devine Vigrin and the messanger angel Gabrielle. Amazing. Simply Amazing
