ya know, this animal may look soft and friendly, like you might wanna pat it.. but I was at a zoo one time... and I was holding my cotton candy... well this giraffe bent his neck down while I was looking the other way, and stole my cotton candy! I thought, " Well damn, that thing has a lot of nerve"... so I went on to see my favorite animal, the chimps... I stood in front of the cage watching this insane chimp come running out of the darkness, and slamming itself against the cage in front of me. When he noticed I was there, he started clapping his hands, then holding them out... I said, "I don't have any bananas, I'm sorry Mr. Monkey"... then ya know what he did? He spit at me! I thought, "Why I oughta spank that monkey"! I was young then... lol

you wouldn't have been the first person to spank the monkey. I love the picture but even more love your comment! I was at the zoo once and a chimp was hurlling turds at the people outside the cage. Should of spanked that one too.

awwww wow! I love this one Lori. He's so cute. They are amazing animals, Ive seen them in the wild. They're very impressive, just like this picture. : )

I love giraffes. We have this place near here called Fossil Rim, where there are dinosaur tracks and stuff and they turned it into a wildlife preserve that you can drive through, and I love to feed the giraffes, they have the softest mouths, like velvet. This is very good and I truly like it alot.
edit: Oh, I'll tell you what's mean... Ostriches! Stay away from Ostriches! They are horribly mean creatures!

I really like how it turned out. It has a nice, thick brush look to it. The lack of a detailed background is a minor annoyance, but the giraffe has enough personality to it that a more lively backdrop isn't really necessary.
