So here’s what happened. It’s concerning one of the techniques i use to shade. apparently Lauscaux doesn’t agree with my style because if i do it too much, it glitches and freezes so i either lose my picture, or have to exit out and come back, hoping it asks for an automatic recovery of the picture i 'lost'. I dunno if this matters but i use the right mouse button to copy a color, then paint with it, copy another color and so on. That’s the technique and as of late, I’m not able to submit 'any' of my pictures. It tells me that there was an error in sending it and says that maybe I had already sent it. I didn’t already send it and EVERY time I try to finish one of my pictures it does this (Lascaux that is)

What the hell am i suppose to do?

it freezes up on me alot to. but for the other stuff it doesnt do any errors.

my problem with lascaux is generally the selecting and moving of parts of a picture... mebbeh its something wrong with your computer? how much memory do you have?

I had a problem in paintbbs where I tryed to submit a picture, and it said I already submitted it. Thats as close to your problem that i've had, sorry I can't help ya' out.

OK.. 1..for the freezeups..hit the refresh button..and that generally brings it back with the "do you want to restore the image" message... 2-- for the submits.. do you have the latest edition of java? theres some stuff in the forums about this kind of thing with various suggestions as to how to fix things...

i dont think it has anything to do with the memory seeing as this is a pretty new computer. i probably should check on my java, but as i said, new computer comes with new hardware. i cant hit the refresh button because it has all togeather stopped giving me messages to bring back my previous pictures so when i do, i lose whatever i had been drawing. trust me, ive tried. ive used laucaux before as you know and its been fine up to this point...

Marcello really has to fix this thing up...

I don't think its the program, or it would be happening to everyone. I would memo someone like marcello or method-3 who can make suggestions on what you need to do specifically to fix the problem.

My suggestions would be 1) get firefox 2) get the *latest* java for it.

I just started practicing with lascaux last week and it rocks, i love it! That doesnt help you...does it?

on me Lascaux has freezed only like 2 times.. and didn't loose much.. but umm.. i think it's your comp's or your browser's fault... hopefully you can get it fixed :)

... i dont want to put blame on anyone but this all started happening after Hakkai gave me more space for one of my pictures. since then i cant update...

I didn't do anything special. Just granted space as I would usually do. I'm sorry it happened..

I keep having trouble when I open it up. It continuely comes up with the a little box in the middle of the page saying Dock and when I click on it then it say's open in the little box. I noticed it comes from the float, but this is happening to me before I even get started??????

yeah. i took the 'immediate float' option off and it started working better. thought i had it but apparently not... evil little... ill keep at it. see what i get. till then, nothings coming from me.

Edit: HA! I GOT IT TO UPDATE! FINALLY. i have no idea what i did diffrent but im definatly not complaining... *dances*
