It looked kind of like there was too much background without the border, probably because the background is so noticable being quite dark and whatnot. I guess the faded box around it contains the picture.

I think the entire picture is neat. The wall is cool, but better yet, I love that border around the main theme, the concept is totally awesome!

pretty collaboration that's what a collaboration must be ! I really like the stone effect and the coloration of the characters. I also must say that the character itself is really nicely done!

what did u use to draw the lineart?

Just the pen tool, set on line and 2pixel. If you want it even dark and more solid, raise the grey slide bar to max... I think.
