Asshole

I tried to give it that semi-quick watercolor & ink kinda feel. Sometimes "simple" works pretty good and it's just fun.

Very nice! I'm in planning stages on doing a bomber too.. more for the nose art part.. but I was leaning to the Avro Lancaster or another B24

This is great!! That's still pretty quick for the amount of detail you got into it... like it.

Forgot to put the "Texas Raiders" on it.

what a beautiful plane, i can't imagine what it would have been like to see dozens of them all flying in formation
JackSprat (Aug 19, 2004)
Very nice! I like the combination of the roughness of line with how clean you did the coloring and shading with straight colors and no blending.

Thanks Jack! That's exactly what I was after.

My favorite part of the drawing is the background. :)

When they flew in formation, it was awsome!! I used to climb the fence at the airfield when they were ferrying them cross country.

Yep sometimes less is more. This is one a those times for sure. I like this kinda style very much :-D
