Well this is my first attempt at a human. Hmmm I guess it is okay. It is so frustrating though. I need some ideas for a background, or anyway I can make it better. Please help!!!!!! (-'.'-)

Thanks for saying that I am good (even though it is not true) and thanks for commenting!

The background looks fine. The lineart would look much better if you smooth it out. Use the blur and/or the eraser set on low opacity and go over them.. not a bad picture..humans are hard

Okay, next time I will try it, well actually I will do it this time

Gee thanks, you are so kind....not.
Priszcilla (Aug 20, 2004)
heh, well...the lineart is smoother, but now the lil details are gone...and it just looks like it's out of focus. but ya know, next time you can keep the lineart on a separate layer and just blur that.
marcello (Aug 20, 2004)
never blur lineart unless you're going to go over it. it's just makes it look like crap. you lose all definition and clarity. If the blur tool was so magical that it made everything perfect, well. heh.

I guess I was too vague.. I should have directed you to zacks comments about smoothing the lines by going over them carefully with low opacity blur and eraser to clean up the edges...

version 5 is also crappy. The background is better as just a solid color. When you just throw in squiggles it looks bad, don't you agree?
