I don't know what else you are going to do to this, but it's a terrific piece of art exactly like it is. I can imagine it on a really huge canvas in a sleek, modern room with lots of chrome furniture. Cool.
This looks great: I know that this is only the beginning, but it already is so realistic and photo-like. The color goes very well, and although I know that the whole picture is more simple than it looks, I can't help marvel it. You portray the person's expression so vividly, and this is a different kind of oekaki that haven't seen. Fantastic job, and I'm eagerly anticipating the finished product ^ ^
supposed to be a pic of a photograph of me...the original isn't quite like this and is at a slightly different angle but oh well. Felt like trying out something different to my regular cartoony style..yet this still looks a bit cartoony!
Okay, it was great before and it is still great. I want both of them, very large and on canvas, behind some chrome-framed furniture on really shiny wood floors. This just rocks... you 'done good' as they say around here.
Wow... the finished product is somewhat different from what I've expected, but I still love it! XD Especially the hairstyle and the colors! I admire how you manipulated all those different colors of blue to make this fantastic oekaki, and the shadings on the eyes, the nose, and the lips are accurate and gives the picture a certain vividness! I like how simple -yet beautiful- this piece of work is, and if this is your first time drawing in this style, you're doing an awesome job! *flashes thumb up*
