Yes... I am still alive... I haven't drawn much since I got my art grade... but I still have hands of which to draw with.
I went to a Titanic museum the other day. I thought I would be bored but I wasn't. It was really interesting and some of the things I found out were pretty shocking. One of those things was this:
100% of first class children were saved.
100% of second class children were saved.
30% of third class children were saved.

I drew this from a photograph. I wanted it to look old.
Move it to intermediate if you so wish Mod's.

What about the poor men?!? Don't they have any statistics on the men? That just sucks. I wouldn't have jumped ship without the man I boarded the ship with, kids or not. I must say I like the simplicity of this and the cold, gray feeling it has.

Yes, they do DBA but I thought that statistic was the most shocking.
You'll be able to find them on the internet if you really want them. I think...

It's a fascinating story. You did a good job on this Fin. It does look like an old photo. I would like some of the edges to be sharpened up some, but it's effective. I've made several models of her, one with all the portholes (hundreds) in the hull lit up. That one looks cool in a dark room when the lights are on.

Nice smokey smoggy air Fin. For some reason the boat seems smaller than the massiveness of the Titanic looked in pictures.. it could be far away though too I suppose. Hmm dunno. It's nice anyhoo so good job :)
