Reference photo by Norman Kenneally (who is an excellent photographer. I met him in Fairfield Ct at a craft fair and bought one of his lighthouse scenes. I told him to check out 2Draw..I hope he comes looking.

This is wonderful, Dave. A little bit of Americana. Great stuff.

So peaceful. Although fishing often bores me.

Wow! I love this, poppasweetie. It has a nice nostalgic feeling. You did a great job on the lighting and the reflections in the water. Wonderful pic! :) Hope Norman sees it!

Oh my, so did I, thanks for bumping it into the 'Latest posts' with your comment LovelyLori :D

The reflection is marvelous, and really shows the motion of the lake.
The silhouette (sp?) give it such a nice feeling, as if the sun was rising behind them, even if it's not 'there'

Thanks everyone, I liked the simplicity of the image and I hope I did the beautiful photo credit. You can see Mr. Kenneally's work at www.normsgallery.com

The photo was great but I think your drawing of it is even better.

I think the simplicity of it is what makes it so striking. Can almost hear the boat creaking with them movin around. The only motion in the water coming when the boat sways. Very beautiful picture poppa... I'd hang it on my wall :)
