LOL! Nice! (somehow, though, seeing the layouts, kept picturing this guy as red, maybe its the star, or maybe subconsciously I think that bad robots are red....lol)

I also pictured him as red at first, probably maroon. I had trouble coming up the rest of the color scheme to match, though. After thinking it over, the quasi-military feel of this color scheme seems to complement the personality I plan for him. Maybe I could accentuate that.

The star led me to beleive it was an american bot, so i figured it would be green or brown. this turned out great!

There is one thing I wonder about though. It took you nearly five hours to do this and only 2 to do that clown? ...I guess people sometimes leave their computer on when they go out and eat and stuff. Or maybe you are a perfectionist with the lines! I just wondered.

Ty: Hehe, the star could go either way. If he was red with a gold star, he'd be a communist bot. ;)
Dino: I'm obsessive about my lines. The timers for this and my other robot pics are accurate. The clown was a spontaneous thing that turned out better than I expected.

Woaw, The shading is very simple, but I think it looks great.
