AH! What is up with Neopets and Pokemon!? Well, anyway, cute picture, but give it some clothes! :D You are progessing, your drawings and your coloring/shading. Also, you are using Lascaux sketch.. Personally, I recommend Oekaki Shi-Painter to you, I use it myseft, and it is very easy with tons of tools. May I also suggest thinner, or watercolor lines? It would make your pictures a lot neater. Also.. You seen like the type that'd use the fill tool... is this true? Do you know how to work layers? (Work is so much easier with layers! Couldn't live without them!)

i disagree with the thin/watercolor lines. the thing that makes lines neater is working more on lines. not just one single line, but going over lines on a low opacity multiple times. as well, varying the lines widths slightly adds more character. id advise looking at a few of hakkais drawings and the animations, as shes awesome with the lines. personally i use shi-painter. the pen tool in that helps with smooth lines a lot. as well, a soft eraser can help thin them out

Yes, I agree, sorry if I misled you. I meant, thin lines or water color lines. I personally think water color lines look the best, no matter how thick. As you see, my most recent work is done in thick watercolor lines.

well I think it's pretty cute.... better than what I can do

I have used both, but I think Lasacux is much better. You can get the same pen effect by clicking "anti-alias" and turning the opacity down a little. When I do black and white, I use oekaki, but for everything else I really like Lascaux's ease of use. There's already more options than I'd ever use, and the menus and buttons are put together in such a way where you can find whatever you need and you can tell what they are.

As far as this picture is concerned, I like it. It's one of those full, complete, nice pictures.
