Based on a Muscle & Fitness photo of an amateur bodybuilder. Doing early drawings of someone this abnormally muscular may come back to bite me but, I wanted to do it.

Having trouble with refining it. So, I'm just letting it sit.

I'm a bit stuck again. Forgot how to make the skin smoother. I could use a jump or kickstart or just a kick. Thanks. :)

Looks like you're doing a good job on the muscles. Wish I could help you on the skin but that lascaux thing is hard for me to maneuver.. haven't been able to figure out how to make smooth skin with it.

This is lookin' SOOOO good, Gigge! Like I told you the other day... EVERY portrait you do... comes out better and better than the last. *amazed at how quickly you are learning*

This is very well done! One thing bothers me a bit though..the figure is so good,, the dumbells , by contrast, arent completely round..kudos for hand drawing them and not using the circle tool (as I have to!) but you need to round them some more.. Great job on that guy!

Gotta call it finished sometime. I'm pretty pleased with this for a first anatomy drawing.

I think it's excellent...now the dumbells look great too! Good job!
emmamommalag (Jul 11, 2004)
Yes, it's excellent, Gigge. You can actually see the blood vessels in his arm! Wow! And how DID you manage to smooth his skin?
laurael (Jul 11, 2004)
Very nice, Gigge! Love the way ya got his neck muscles popping out. That arm muscle is sweet and the dumbell looks good too... :)
sal (Jul 15, 2004)

This is pretty cool, I like the detail you've done, right down to the veins in his arms.
