Looks like a game of minefield..

Yeah, but it isn't.
staci (Jul 3, 2004)
well what is it? why did you draw it? what happens if i push button 1? or 21? and most importantly why are columns 8 9 and 10 all the same color?
davincipoppalag (Jul 3, 2004)
Button the other hand............

It's two buttons. I drew it for people to look at and wonder why someone would draw that. Nothing happens if you push a button. Columns 8 9 and 10 are all the same color because I started out at column one with a medium burn and lowered the burn numbers for each column as I went from left to right, when I got to column 9 I had lowered the burn number to zero, so basicly I ran out of numbers on the scale because I didn't calculate before I started, I just slid it down without really being exact on how far. This may lead you to ask well then why is column 11 lighter than 8 9 and 10. That would be because I wanted something abrupt at the end of the gradient.

I love this. It's just there. It captures my attention, makes me want to figure it out and I'm really not even sure why. It's pleasant. It's ok that I might not get it. I just like it. I find myself waiting for something in this. I think it's interesting the way the squares toward the left look sort of 3D and then gradually change and flatten out as you move toward the right.

I don't care what the buttons are for. I want to know if I can have that piece of Chiclet cinnamon gum that is hovering over the whole thing.

Nice gradient, unique composition. This looks like something my old color and design professor painted. His theory is that mathematical and geometric art is the last frontier in art history and we've only scratched the surface. Sounds cool to me, I hope he's right.

Thanks guys.

Hi DBA.

And Cloxboy, as Ren once said "You're one of thee good ones man."

I love how Staci already asked everything. I think I have a crush on her.
