this looks really nice. i dont much like the bold black lines around the edges... is that suppose to be burned-in cracks? it could have ben done diffrentley. other than that, this looks wonderful! the horse is very niceley done!

yeah, they were supposed to be cracks in the paper, but more or less I gave up on it. I could have done the flames better, and I don't think that there is enough shading in the body... maybe next time I try the nightmare I'll use blue to shade the body. I think it looks too flat, to dead. Yes, I am my own worst critic.

Haha :)!I love Nightmare.The awesome black horse with a flaming mane and flaming hooves XD.This looks nice, but didn't Nightmare have a orangeish and redish region near the nose?Either way, great job :).

yes it did. I tried to draw it but I couldn't with a mouse. My next one of the nightmare will be far better.

She is my lady and I love her. The nightmare is the only one to whome I bow. She is Caliphere (read Magic:The gathering issue #1 NIGHTMARE: The Vanishing Lands) The nightmare is the one who brings to you your dreams and nightmares. When you wake up in the night and stare into the darkness, The Nightmare is the one who is staring back.
