Hey nice job on the shading, it really made it look a lot better. As far as the background, remember that you have to use it to balance the picture. I would suggest that maybe you have her dodging bullets inside a fancy building with a pillar on the left there. Use natural colors like tans, and browns so that the figure stands out against it. Dont forget to add depth to the background if you go with a building or object. Otherwise just stick with one solid color.
