for me, it's laziness. and it never occurs to me. Maybe if there were some way of seeing who was actually in the chat before you went in (like on each page of 2draw), it'd pull more people in.

For the most part though, most people seem to chat on AIM, and occassionally start up 2draw chat rooms on that...

Well.. There ARE occasions in which people would start inviting people from 2draw into an AIM chat room.. Mostly young people who use to draw here. Oldbies.

As for the mIRC channel we have.. Uhn.. Yeah. I guess I can start visiting. >_>; but it's not like I'm going talk alot when I would.

Yup yup, Hakkai's right. We used to stalk everyone and play tag, and she would hid in MSE's pant's. We havent had one in a while though. Good times.......

lol I tink the big downer is that there is no sound to signal someone entering the room. With 2draw V1 there were always people in chat because it would start with one person opening the window and then other people jumping in and would snowball from there.

yea yea, well, I can't use that one anymore without paying monies. ideally, I'd write my own, maybe once I get a paintchat-like system up.

People can chat on ym and msn and aim . I would rather see an instruction book for the applets if you're gonna write something.....

The chat client Marcello has up here could suck a golf ball through a garden hose and blow the paint off a fence. Still, I'll be hanging around in the #2draw room if anyone wants to chat... I'll leave the window open whenever my comp's on and I'm not playing a game, and I'll try to check it every once in a while. Meanwhile I declare myself king of the chatroom whenever Marcello isn't in it. Huzzah.

I used to chat in it all the time. People don't consider it as much whe, like they said, there are other messengers available. Something they have open all the time, for instance.

I remember the other chat room....I used to be there ALL the time. [rant]The new chat room isn't all that great, and a good way to attract people would be to do what ZackF does. I remember once Aunvi and I met in the chat room, and one person came in, and soon there were about 8 people in the chat room. We would play hide and seek in the 2draw pages, and generally have a good time. You can change your name in the new chat room. XD Good way to make other people angry...[/rant]

i go into chat all the time...but no ones ever on :'[ but since youre need to be social has shown through, ill have to IM you some time :}
