This picture just has an aura of sweetness, for some reason. :) It reminds me of when I was little, my friend Julie down the street had this HUGE box of beautiful marbles, and there was this great big one I always wanted and she wouldn't give it to me... so I STOLE it!!!!! My conscience bothered me so badly I took it back the next day and never stole anything again in my life. I had forgotten about her. And lightning struck a tree next to her house and it fell onto the roof and landed in their living room. Isn't it funny how one little drawing can conjure up so many memories...? :).

speaking of marbles, that one scene in amelie is so painful to watch.

awwww... didn't mean to bring up sad memories... :( although, marbles are lovely and fun games to play with it :) i play with them a lot when i was little... :) nice story, dba, thanks for sharing ;) ur drawing making me conjure up memories too :)
