are you from some Texas up in Canada eh? hehe just messin with you-yup he's got serious chest and neck muscles-I want a horse-but I'll have to settle with riding other peoples-do you ride Western or English (Western ALL the way) hehe sorry-that's my opinion-this is great-keep it up
I ride both.. I trained this little boy myself, and I love the way he rides (especially when he's mad, he's like a rocking horse.. hehe) If you're ever looking for a horse from the TN area, lemme know, we're actually breeders ^_^
... come to look at this, it looks like his butt's a bit lop-sided, I think I'll fix that in the next edit, too..
The last horse I had at my Daddy's ranch was a quarter horse named Lady, who liked to play with the bulls... she kept getting seriously hurt, when we tried to separate her she would go ballistic running up and down the fence and hurt herself so badly...well... let's just say it didn't have a happy ending and we don't have her anymore. She liked to eat pop tarts and drink coffee, too. Now all we have are these stupid lame horses that my crazy uncle brought down here from New York, and I don't know who had them before but they are some messed up equines. lol... Okay, I'm rambling... this is proportionally a very nice horse, although he does look like he lifts weights. lol They are hard to draw and you did a nice job. :)
Beautiful horse, I had one many moons ago :) I call him Parrita, he was white with a black spot on the head, had to sell him when I left my islands :( you did a great job, can not wait to see it done.
My cousin got smashed by her horse just like a year ago....her lung collapsed so she was taken to the hospital and fortunately turned out okay.I think she owns two horses named Honey and Ozzie.She competes with 'em and she's actually really good.I could never do it, but then again I prefer not to ride horses so........I'll stay with cars thanks.Anyways, getting to the picture, dunno why people like you put your work on beginner's being this well done, but then I can't force you to at least go to intermediate, so yeah.I'm liking the shading and smoothness of your colors.Great job on this, I'm sure it'll turn out to be incredible by its completion.
Gig, I put this in beginner's because it is only my second.. hehe.. I am a beginner with this ^^;; I dunno, can you change where it's posted to? if so, I think on the final draft I will put it in intermediate..
thank you for the lovely comments and stories ^_^!! (and yeah, he's not really that well built.. getting there.. maybe by the time he's six.. haha... he's definately more muscley now than when the ref. photo I was using was taken..)
I like it! My uncle owns a horse farm in PA. A lot of rich people board their horses there. I am going to volenteering there three x's a week in the summer. If I work from 6:00am-9:00pm-then the next day i come, I can either take a day long trail ride, or take a lesson with a different each hour! I am so excited! I can't wait! Anywho, I like the horse! It looks cute. My favorite horse is Mugz. I can't ride him because he is REALLY wild! GREAT JOB!
I think I like how the mane is coming, but the tail looks like hell, huh? too "flat".. I think Ill chnage that next... smoothed out the white markings on his shoulder... it'll be done either tonight or tomorrow, I think.. ^^;;
Poppyseed, the best kind of horse is wild ^_^ I love T, when he gets mad, he bucks and rears just as hard as he can... of course, he's very smooth, feels like being on a rocking chair.. in a way, makes me want him mad more often.. ^^;; hehe.. and I would take that job!!
uggh.. I want to finish this, but at the same time I don't... dun wanna risk messing it up... ^^;; and I don't think I can do the rest of it justice... meh.. wish me luck!! (again, thanks for the comments!!)
"fixed" his tail.. still not quite happy with it.. should I add a BG? if so, should I try my hand at a realistic BG, or a chinsey color pattern (like for a portrait)?
I like the mane and the tail!!! don't erase it!! I might just want to work on the chest....it kinda scares me '_'
Great job though! I would try to add a bg of a pasture, or "T" inside of his stable... can't wait till its done! I want to print it!!!! Keep up the good work! Love it! '_' :) @.@
mostly just wanted to save how the tree is looking before I pass out asleep.. I think I like it.. (note: the green areas of "sky" will have tree.. or at least so I think at this point.. hehe) perhaps it will be done tomorrow/today? *crosses fingers* maybe I'll get to work on it.. ^^;;
