woooow....that's an awesome first shot! wow. um...hmm, the only thing that i see is that theres some places it's inconsistant like it's really sharp around the hair and head scarf, but then her jaw is blurry...so maybe sharper that (ahhhh davin...what have you done?) that's the only thing i can see...it's definitely easier when the canvas is bigger...but wow...you're awesome! great job!

Okay.. is that any better? I tried sharpening it up around the chin and jaw. Thanks for your help and the kind remarks. : )

i think that adding shadow along one side of the face and body (opposite of where ever the light is coming from), and adding a core shadow will heighten both the drama and 3d-ness of this wonderful pic. also, the cloak looks a bit flat. indicating the shoulder with shading would help aleviate this "problem." otherwise, this is really beautiful!

Hey those programs are goofy but once fiddled with can do nice things...so manipulating and fiddling helps.

Well, I messed around with it some more.. tried adding a little shadow on the left and did some more to the scarf. Does it still look flat?
