woah, this is absolutely beautiful...the thing on her head with the solid lines though...well the black lines really pop out...kinda weird...but i really love her hair and eyes and the background is pretty cool too :)

She's very beautiful DBA but what really bugs me are those sharp black lines...they stand out far too much from the general softness of the image, kinda distracting your eyes from the overall beauty...perhaps if you softened them a bit it'd work?

the ones in the tiara , I think.. they appear to be cutouts in the gold judging from the one at the top left where you can see through..

Yeah, ED that's bugging me too, they were supposed to be cut-out's (I guess you'd call them) like davin said, but instead of receding, the color on the layer underneath jumps forward, wasn't expecting that. I think I still have space to try to fix it, If nothing else I'll just replace the gold. Thank ya'll!

Lovely, really. I particularly like this piece because it's brighter than most of your work; I think it's the bright blue sky that does it. Most of your pieces have a definite brown feel to them. ~__~ So this is much happier, brighter, etc. I really like it.

Atalanta? I thought the goddess of war was Athena (also wisdom), and the goddess of the hunt was Artemis, Apollo's sister. >___>

Thanks, visceral. Yep, I call it muddy... lol Sometimes I do it on purpose, especially the western stuff, but I like the bright stuff better, too. There's more than one Goddess of the Hunt, Diana is also another one. There are several warrior goddesses. Atalanta was best known for killing a giant boar that was killing ppl and destroying the countryside, the reward was supposed to be the tusks and the hide, but the male warriors (being the sexist pigs that they were) were resentful and wouldn't give them to her even though she saved their lives while they were hunting it - it was attacking them when she shot it. (That is my boar's tusk from one I killed with my bow around her neck - thought I would give it to her. (lol)
