doing great Chris. :) perfect choice of colors.I love how you can stick to your style on here. My youdraw pics are nothing like the pics I do here. Wonderful job.
Looks to me like someone doing yoga on one of the standard yoga mats offered for sale by nearly every class and/or teacher. They come in several colours, including the bright pinkish red shown here (as well as turquoise and purple, in the kind of bright shades you'd expect from this example) -- which doesn't looks much like blood to me, and which reflects up on her clothing exactly the way you'd expect such a yoga mat to do. Personally, I think it's a good sketch, especially from memory. It is true that the bright colour pulls my eye there, but only long enough to go "oh, yoga mat, gotcha" and move on to things like noticing the way the colour reflects on the pants, and the contours of the pose, and the way you've used light and shadow to bring out depths in the hair. :) I don't think most other standard yoga mat colours would have worked as well in such limited amounts. :) My compliments!
you know for all this time I never realised what people were going on about with the red colour- than I turned up the brightness on my screen and realised I had used dark red instead of dark blue in some of the shadows.. so now I have painted it out,,,,,argh! I have the light on the screen turned down because everything looks too bright...
