I'm just submitting this unfinished to see if anyone has hair colour suggestion and/or constructive criticism about anything, and/or optionally background ideas.
All This Time is a song by Sting, the inspiration might be a little obscure ^^;

I -should- mention the timer is hideously wrong and I only spent maybe two hours on this. But I won't.
Dirty blonde? Okay, I imagined her a brunette, but I suppose dirty blonde is a happy medium between brown and blonde anyway ^_^

I think it would look good with dirty blonde hair? but the pic is great everything is in proportion and the shading is awsome^^ if you keep this up you could move to intermediate in no time!!!!!!!!! oh and another thing mabey try bluring the shading so you don't see the lines of the diff. shades

I don't like the way blurring looks, I've done the best I could with my (now quickly degrading) eyesight, and the watercolour tool. ^^;

well thats cool i mean do what you want ya know but mabe the lips look a lil too small to me?

Yes, they probably are ^^; I'm afraid if I make them bigger the nose will look too small, though. They make the eye look kinda big too. I'll try to fix them, yes, maybe I can...

Yep, I think I did. Should I make the lines match the skin tone and hair color and/or blend them in with the shading?

well im not sure about the blending but if you put the eye and the bridge of the nose closer together i think it would look ok when you make the lips bigger.

Em, well, you know those picture that always seem to look better in the Thumbnails? Yeah, this is one of them.
Instant fantastic shading! Step ten feet away from your moniter and squint, makes this shading seem almost decent!

Thanks both of you, and thank you especially Dragonclaw for your help ^_^ I hoped the hair was the right oclour, my mother used to say my hair colour was dirty ash blonde when I was younger, so I went with that ^^;;
