thanks Icats, I agreed with your wise critique and put a little texture in the door. It does look better! the door in the photograph was painted and very close to my version 7

I actually saw a delapidated building of an old state hospital that had places that looked like this... gives you an eerie feeling. This was very creative, and I love your sort of morbid ideas. ;) You did a great job on the glass - transparent glass is SO hard to do.
