It either was deleted, or there was a mistake in it. Try drawing something new, and if there was a mistake, it'll say 'but you have unfinished drawings' something like that. If not, it was probably deleted.

I tried loading the applet up again, it didnt say anything about having unfinished drawings. Why would it have been deleted? It was like...mountains, and a sky and stuff. othing offensive...

Maybe you should check your point history before asking what happened to it..
And suppose you don't know where it is, go to 'My Studio@2draw' on the top and go through your point history. Or here: [X] [Edited because I gave the wrong url... just one of those days..] |

Pardon me for not being a whiz with the applet right offhand. I wasn't aware that becoming distracted while drawing and tending to other things was a punishable offense. It's pretty damn arrogant to say that something's so bad that it couldnt have taken the time it did anyway. not all of us are born artists.

It seems like it is, considering my picture got nuked because I took my time on it (still learning the applet) and was doign some other things on and off during it.

it was probably deleted for not following moderator rules. "because I took my time on it" is hardly a reason to delete something. =P

If you were still learning the applet, you shouldn't have submitted in the first place. You don't have to submit everything you draw.

Marcello: I quote "Entry Deleted with Penalty by Moderator. I don't believe for a second this took you an hour. It's too bad for that amount of time." I guess I should be glad that my browser window closed on my first drawing--when i came back to it the timer reset and it ended up being 24 minutes, apparently that's acceptable for my skill level.
I'm just not clear on where i broke the rules. I posted in the beginner forum, which specifically says its for learners, and i put some effort into it, and my second crappy pic gets deleted ecause the timer says an hour, wheras my first crappy pic stays because the timers says 24 minutes (which isn't correct btw) |

So you admit that they were crappy?

Look, the thing isn't really about how much effort you put into the drawing. The point is that because bandwidth isn't free, we try to keep high standards for submissions. If you want to keep your drawing at all costs, YOU MUST submit the piece as unfinished hidden, where moderators will not be able to see it. Any other qualms about the standards are pretty much futile, ESPECIALLY if you mention that you were experimenting/practicing/getting familiar with the applet. Serious submissions is the standard here like I said, so do not expect us to accept anything else.
