Love your style...I think I favor version II but maybe with version III's low opacity layer over just the hair =) Really liking the pixel like texture too...

Thanks, Elly and Lori. Everything was looking so harsh and hard to me so I messed around with softening the colors and edges. I kinda liked how it made the brushstrokes stand out. Texture=square pixelated brush using the smudge tool with medium amount of scatter over a watercolor background.

Thank you. I'll have to look her up--don't know the name. I wasn't trying to make it look like anyone in particular, it sort of took shape after a lot of doodling.

I see some resemblance there too nice
