I'm glad you found it again :)

I really love it as is.. what are the chances you'd call it finished soon?
Flubbles (Jun 28, 2012)
drawn in 4 min
A pretty good chance...
davincipoppalag (Jun 28, 2012)
Looks like young Emma Watson?
Flubbles (Jun 28, 2012)

do you ever use sko? what tool is this in shi-painter, blend and watercolor or pen? i think you'd like the blend tool in lascaux if you haven't tried it.
Flubbles (Jun 28, 2012)
I really only get along with oekaki, I'm a creature of habit. I mainly used watercolour, with a little pen action here and there. No real method.
Sweetlove15 (Jun 28, 2012)
Beautiful tones
lori (Jun 29, 2012)
nice job flubbles.. looks a little like my sister when she was young, cute
Axil62 (Jun 29, 2012)
Flubbles, this sucks. What's wrong with you?
Flubbles (edited Jun 30, 2012)
I dont know dude...
Axil62 (Jun 30, 2012)
Yeah, me too. hope it's just a phase.
shults (Jun 30, 2012)
I don't see it.
Roytje (Jun 30, 2012)
I think mister Axil is joking.
shults (edited Jun 30, 2012)
Oh.. what gave you the impression?

edit- do you use the dutch equivalent for 'mister' in your everyday life as well?
Roytje (Jun 30, 2012)
Because this doesn;t suck. ;)
The eyes are wonderful done.

No, but I like the english words sir and mister.
Flubbles (edited Jun 30, 2012)
Well...I wasn't quite sure. So I responded accordingly. I'm not really trying that hard, so I dont mind either way. Just trying to be more natural.

It's not finished yet, I still have time to ruin it, or make it slighty better. Could go either way.
Roytje (Jun 30, 2012)
It isn;t your best. But the best drawings come most of the time when that person is really active.
Green can work for skin tones, but it doesn;t in this drawing. I like the little purple.
Flubbles (Jun 30, 2012)
You mean the green around the chin? it does look a little misplaced, I'll probably phase it out when I do another revision later.
shults (Jun 30, 2012)
green often gives the impression of shaved hair..
Roytje (Jun 30, 2012)
The green on the bottom of her cheek. It gets all the attention. My eyes go immediately to that spot.
Flubbles (Jun 30, 2012)
So if I put a brown blob in the middle of her forehead it might take your attention away from the green?
shults (Jun 30, 2012)
Exactly!
staci (Jun 30, 2012)
i don't think he was joking ><

what made you want to draw this ref btw, someone you know or is there something about the lighting/colors that you liked...id be interested to see it.
Axil62 (Jul 1, 2012)
Flubbles, I respect your work, I like your sense of humor. I wouldn't say something about your work just to bother you and maybe I should have held my tongue until this was finished, but so far it's off. Not the colors but the jaw line and her mouth look skewed to me. I haven't seen the ref so it's just speculation, I suppose. You're always so precise and from what I gather you are attempting to move from that to a looser style and I appreciate that and I understand that during the transition there will be a learning curve. I hate going through learning curves and I suspect it isn't one of your most favorite things to go through either. Keep at it. I'm sure it will be well worth the effort.

oh i see, her hair is over her chin line so because you haven't done the hair details yet it looks skewed. i don't really like to pick apart silly details because 101% of the time when I use a ref if you compared them side by side they'd be way different, ultimately that doesn't really matter in the end result.
Flubbles (Jul 1, 2012)
You cant get anymore than 100%...dont be silly.
