The Master strikes again. The ear looks a bit off though. :D
Flubbles (Jan 5, 2012)
I think the ear looks fine.
Roytje (Jan 5, 2012)
I think the ear looks good. Not as good as the hair, though ;)
Wraith (Jan 5, 2012)
Yup.. It's hard to critique masters because no matter what you masters draw, it's still pretty damn good.
Flubbles (Jan 5, 2012)
Nobody appoints you master I dont think, it's just that I've posted enough draws on the advanced board to make me one, which means I must of had a pretty big ego. So anybody can become a master in theory.

Art is work. I am lazy. I purchased about 5 art books, and have yet to read one. One day, I will start learning, stop being so lazy, and improve.
Black_Bird (Jan 6, 2012)
Incredible work...

I'm no master. However, I did start painting with oils again and quite frankly, I love it. At first I didn't, but now... gotta paint, man!
lori (Jan 6, 2012)
Will you post what you've painted? I'd like to see.
Wraith (Jan 6, 2012)
Oh nice axil62. I am going to start painting with oils as well! I got all the materials for it. Just never got to it. I got one of those pre gesso boards because I never painted with gesso before. I'm sure it will be a lot easier to paint with gesso. What I will paint, I have no fuckin clue. Maybe landscape.
backmagicwoman (Jan 6, 2012)
Very nice indeed.

Remember back when I was on a chair kick? Probably not because why would you? Well anyway, I did a few chairs, a red one a yellow one and a blue one here at 2draw. The reason I haven't posted any pictures of the oils I did in Florida is because those are the refs I used to do the oils with and they seem elementary and boring and I wanted them to be great, I wanted people to think more of my oils. I did however do one of the self portraits from here in oil and I might post that. I might post them all I guess. I tell you what though, you should see Orkdoops paintings. I want to buy them for myself but she has them for sale around town and I want her to get the exposure.

OK... maybe I can get my dad to send better individual pics but here's one I have ... http://s699.photobucket.com/albums/vv352/Axil62/?action=view&current=makeup008.jpg

They look really good. Post some of the kid's too.
lori (Feb 16, 2012)
I like the yellow chair best. The colors of the chair and background meld much nicer together than the other two chairs. Your self portrait came out cool too.
Axil62 (Feb 16, 2012)
Thanks, guys :)
Aakyra (Feb 16, 2012)
