NekoChibi (edited Mar 5, 2011)
The Problem: Ok, I have used chibipaint for drawing very often lately. However, its been working differently than before. For example, lets say I draw on layer 1, then I go to layer 2 that is below layer 1. I draw on layer 2 and all of the strokes disappear when I go back to layer 1. In other words I can only see the highest layer and nothing below it. How can I change the layer setting to make all layers visible even if one is on top of the other? (Example of what it should be doing: The top layer is line-art layer below it, is coloring, even if you color the lower layer you should still see it--and the lineart--on the layer above the color. So no matter how many layers are below the highest/top layer you should be able to see them.). How do I fix this problem (if thats possible???)!?
Thanks :) |

Layer 1 is always the bottom layer, so layer 2 would be above it, not below it. Any line art will only be visible as long as you do not do a solid fill on layers above layer 1, although you can change the opacity of any layer and see through it partially. You can also set layers above layer 1 to 'Multiply' and that will make it possible to see the layers beneath them but it makes any solid colours very dark. Hope this helps.

You can move layers so that any layer you want is on the bottom, in the middle etc etc

in chibi the default layer, ie Layer 1 is solid white, any new layer is clear, except if you duplicate the default ;p
