Yup huh. I can't remember the last time I really tried to make something look really real. I just have no desire to put that much into one draw anymore.
well see, I got this tablet last Christmas, and now that I'm drawing with my actual writing hand, it feels funny... and the tablet doesn't do exactly what I remember the mouse doing as far as good detail... maybe I'm doing something wrong. Plus, if I go back to the mouse and my right hand, we have a new mouse that I dont' like as much... I don't know! It's frustrating.
I understand the precise control a mouse gives you, but the trade off with the pen is a more natural flow in your work and there is nothing to say that you can't switch back and forth between the two whenever either tool suits what you want at the moment, even on the same draw. I almost never use a mouse anymore because I've grown so acustom to the pen but I'm sure I could benefit from my own advice here sometimes. I just don't think about the mouse as another drawing tool anymore.
Edit: Also, as far as the pen goes, there should be a "pen tablet properties" feature that will allow you to control pen behavior as far as the button on the pen (left click, right click etc) and the pressure sensitivity. You should also be able to scale the actual drawing area of the pad to the whole monitor screen or all the way down to the exact size and dimension of the particular drawing you happen to be doing at the time which may help give you a better sense of what the pen is doing on the pad in relationship to what the cursor is doing on the screen. I haven't used that feature in quite some time, but I used to, and at first it seemed to help ease me into the whole pen vs mouse deal.
Shit, lady, you are good. Everything does not have to be strict realism; besides, looks like yer getting used to the pen tablet, and it took me quite a while, too. Nice!!!If everything was realism, we would just do photography.
well thank you but what I mean is I did this on another account :http://2draw.net/view/28110/ and did it with a mouse... I just can't seem to do work like this anymore
