After I thought I was finished, I couldn't help but change it again. The basics are here, though, you just have to figure out for yourself when your creation is done. That's hard for me sometimes...lol.

STEP ONE: Draw lines in any colors you wish, use the scatter tool if you'd like. Just any old way to fill up the canvas to get started. This will do.

STEP TWO: Anti-alias clicked/blend is NOT. Opacity/Flow 255. Soft brush, any size.

STEP THREE: OPACITY/FLOW still 255. Soft brush Anti-alias always checked. Blend on, draw in any direction you want to..blend off..blend on..till you like what you're seeing...use any colors you'd like. I've kept it monochromatic..so far...

STEP FOUR: You can 'slice up' your lovely picture by changing from a soft brush to a 'harder' one, round or square. Blend off. Still in DIFFERENCE mode. Opacity/Flow 255. When I do this, if I'm using a mouse, and I am for this tutorial, I repeatedly left click as I'm drawing to create this effect.

STEP FIVE: I kept this on BLEND for the whole time I drew this. DIFFERENCE mode again. Opacity/Flow 255. Same color, white..Anti-Alias checked. Just keep moving around the canvas, and as you do, it changes, too...again, I left clicked to change the way it would look from time to time.

STEP SIX: DIFFERENCE MODE. OPACITY/FLOW 255 blend off. blend on Added colors, but only 2, the Difference mode makes it seem like more. Added some gradient tool also....sigh...but, now I'm not liking this, so I may change it. But, basically, that's how I create in this style.

I 'cut up the drawing with the harder brush, cut it to pieces, then blended again, added a lot of color. Blurred out the back a bit. Sharpened a couple of 'leaf looking' shapes. Done.. :o)
