I was trying to figure out why Flubbles is drawing Stacey. I know you're a big fan and all, but...

Okay, okay. I know it's Aubrey Plaza, but it looked like Stacey in the thumb.

I've been trying not to copy things to look like photo's, in an attempt to find my own style. I think I've found my style and it's not that great.

I like this draw. Fix the shirt and mark it as finished.I come here to draw something and instead i watch animations on slow motion...realistic copies are boring ...hers not so perfect face tells the story

I think the fact that you are trying something different in an effort to find your own style is wonderful..I agree that copying photos can be boring and its important for you to nake some pieces your own..Its beautiful.

I was listening to an interview with Milton Glaser The interviewer asked him if he thought it true that everyone has the potential for drawing. I liked his answer. He said "With dedication, time and a lot of effort it is possible for most people to be able to reproduce what they see in front of them. That is a considerable achievement but it is not what I consider art. To create art it is necessary to be able to draw expressively and not everyone can do that." I don't think you've found your style yet. I think you're still in a transitional period between having achieved an amazing ability to reproduce imagery and figuring out what your style will be. It's a process. You're in it. It's exciting to watch. Aren't we lucky to be witnessing it? I always think that when I get to see someone's skill evolve into a refinement of their personal expression or style. This oekaki shit is a fucking amazing venue for that. I just put that in for a laugh for anyone who didn't fall asleep or wander off in boredom after reading the first line of this comment.
