This is really nice.....it looks like an afghan that's not quite finished yet,,,,,very pretty! I wish I knew how to knit,,,,,,it looks like it might be very time consuming though.....:)

thank you FC and davinci. I make afghans, hats, scarves, purses, and yes it does take a long time to do an afghan, sometimes months if it is large or complex and it can get expensive, $100-200 or more depending on the yarn and size of the afghan

LOL! Love the title =) This makes me think about my grandmother (miss her). She didn't knit but did crochet...a LOT! I remember as a young girl wanting her attention but never really getting it because she was too busy crocheting, gardening, canning, freezing, and baking bread! SO, I thought if I told her I wanted to learn how to crochet, maybe I'd get some of her attention. It worked and she was so excited about showing me. In the end, not only did I get some great attention and time with her, I also learned how to crochet (basic stitches) and went on to teach myself the finer art of crochet =) It's been a while now since I've sat and crocheted anything, really since my son came along...never had time after that! Thanks for bringing back that memory with your drawng, L&C!

I like the vibrancy in the colors you choose..

I don't know the difference between knitting and crocheting......I can't do either one. One time (many years ago), my daughter made a beautiful little afghan for me.....I don't know whether she knitted it or crocheted it.....but the colors are so vibrant...it's really pretty. That's something that I will keep forever.

knitting is done with 2 needles and crochet is done with one hook, I learned how to crochet because I wanted an afghan and I didn't know anyone to make one for me so I learned how to make my own, I know you will keep the afghan your daughter made for you

Yes.....I will definitely keep the afghan that my daughter made for me.....it's very special.....
