I ended up doing a lot of research about QE1 when I started my drawing and I remember coming across this portrait of her a lot. It's interesting that none of them look at all the same. I guess when you were dealing with a Tudor in those days you had to be pretty careful or you might lose your head. Literally. This is looking really great.
